By request, here are some more photos of the Hexagon house that sold in 8 days!  By the way, I forgot to mention in the initial post that this home sold for almost FULL ASKING price...(just $1000 under list)

Homes that are unusual can often be a hard sell as buyers think resale. While this home was cute, it had pie shaped rooms that were quite small. Apparently the home had been on the market previously without much interest. Apostle Art staged and the rest is history!

                      This was your view upon entering...odd shapes aside...another bland vacant.

                  You can kind of see the angles in the dining room...even more awkward in person.

In the shot below, you can see how I had to angle the couch out so it would not look as odd as if I followed the wierd angle of the walls. By the way...I did not recommend the peach trim and white walls...we always make it work though!!

The bedrooms were ridiculous as the corners were 45 degree angles and the rooms were really small!

                                       The wall the bed is on below is only about 4 feet wide!

 Who knows how long this home would have sat without staging...90% of buyers cannot visualize the space...throw in pie shaped rooms...impossible!! We always love a good challenge and we believe ...

OK real estate agents... Why should I hire you?

As a professional stager, and a real estate investor I know the importance of having the best agent out there when selling your home.

I see the frustration of so many of my clients who are not getting the attention they so desperately need to sell their homes in this challenging market. So many of them are ready to drop their current agent (that is if their contract is expired) and find someone who is really willing to work for them.

I believe it is important to interview several agents to compare how they propose to market your property and to see if their personality and manor mesh with yours. I am told however, that most sellers end up going with the first agent they meet with.

SOOOOO....what do you think are the top 5 questions a seller should ask a prospective listing agent, how should they respond, and what should make them run for the hills????

                Are Stagers sent from Heaven?

Well, most of us do not have wings, although we have been known to "fly around" at lightening speed to get projects finished for our clients.

Angels? Ask some of our clients. I am sure there are scores of sellers and agents who would testify on their stagers' behalf. Just ask Jeanie. She will tell you how she was one step away from foreclosure after trying to sell for a year, and how her house sold 8 days after we staged her home gratis as part of a volunteer project.

Gaurdian Angels? Who looks after their properties with more tender loving care than a stager? Our projects are like children to us... they are our creations!

We guide sellers on how to maintain them. We gaurd over vacant homes, checking in on them while sellers are in far away lands, making sure their driveways are plowed or their grass cut.

Miracle Workers? Wow, is all I can say to that. Stagers work miracles every day! Real Estate agents are astounded by our miraculous ability to get sellers to take action and prepare their homes for the market. They say..."I've told them that a thousand times but they didn't do it...you say it once, and they get to it straight away!" Miraculous is certainly the words we here said after the awe inspiring transformations we perform on so many sad looking properties. :( And let's not forget all those stale properties that have been listed for months and even years that sell in less than a week after we stage.

Saints? Well, I know many a realtor who call on their saintly abilities day in and day out but we stagers also need saintly restraint at times. Like when a client calls to tell you they rented the vacant house you staged and the tenant has already moved in 2 months ago...with all of your inventory still in place. When you finally get access to go and destage you find they have stained your tablecloth and used your bedding and pillows...yuk!

So...are stagers sent from Heaven? Follow them around for a day and you'll see for yourself.
